In short: Therapist Circle is free for registered practitioners and free for people looking for therapy. There is no membership fee, no listing fee, no referral fee and no advertising. You can join or search Find without paying us anything.
Some directories charge to list or to appear higher in results. We don't. This page sets out exactly what is free, so you can compare us with paid directories without surprises.

For Practitioners
If you are on a recognised UK register, you can list your practice for free. That includes counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, CBT therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, arts therapists, play therapists and family therapists, among others.

Searching Find, reading guides and sending an introduction request through Therapist Circle are free. We never charge you to contact a practitioner. Any fee for sessions is set by the practitioner.
How We Compare
Other UK directories sometimes charge for a listing, for a "featured" place, or for each enquiry. Professional bodies often include a directory in membership, and some charge extra. Therapist Circle is independent, free for every listed profession, and does not sell boosted placements.

Nothing. Listing your practice is free, searching Find is free, and reading our guides is free. There are no paid plans, no referral fees and no adverts.
Is there a paid premium listing?
No. Every listed practitioner gets the same kind of profile. We don't sell boosted placements or sponsored results.
Are there hidden fees for clients?
No. Clients never pay Therapist Circle to search or to send an introduction. Any session fee is set by the practitioner and paid to them, not to us.
Will you start charging later?
Therapist Circle Ltd's aim is to keep the directory free for practitioners and clients. If that ever changed, we would say so clearly on this page and in the terms before anything was charged.
How do you keep it free?
The directory is run by Therapist Circle Ltd as a free public directory. Running costs are kept low on purpose. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads.
