Privacy and Accessibility
- No personal data collected or stored. The widget has no forms, sets no cookies, uses no local storage and has no analytics or tracking. The profession list is built into the widget, so choosing one sends nothing to us.
- Like any web page, the widget is delivered by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which handles the technical connection (such as the IP address) to deliver it, as described in our privacy notice. The embed code asks browsers not to send your page’s address to us.
- Accessible. It uses a standard labelled drop-down that works with a keyboard and screen readers, announces the result, and has visible focus outlines.
Terms of Use
- The widget is free to use on any non-misleading website. Please don’t change it, hide the “from Therapist Circle” credit, or present it as your own or as an NHS or professional body tool.
- It’s provided as is, as general information, without any warranty. We check the register links, but registers change, so we can’t guarantee they’re always complete, current or available.
- It doesn’t check any individual practitioner, and it isn’t a recommendation or endorsement of any practitioner, register or organisation. Using it doesn’t mean we endorse your organisation, or that you endorse us.
- We may change or withdraw the widget at any time. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from its use.
- Questions or a broken link? Contact us.
Therapist Circle is independent. We’re not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the NHS, the ICO, the HCPC, the PSA, BACP, UKCP, NCPS, the BPS or any other professional body or regulator named here. Last reviewed 21 October 2026.
