What we do check
- Practitioners join with their register and registration number.
- Before a profile appears on Find, we look up the person’s name and number on their public register by hand, and check they match a current entry.
- We re-check listed practitioners at least once a year.

- We don’t run identity checks (no passport or driving licence check), and a register check is only correct on the day it was made.
